He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Alward and Elizabeth Alward (Kushto); his siblings, Patricia and Howard Jr.; and his grandson Andrew.
He is survived by: his son-in-law Larry; his wife Bessie Irene (Kabay); his daughters, Cheryl Deardurff (Larry) of South Bend and Kathryn Ingram of London; his stepson Steven Bruster of South Bend; and his grandchildren, Shanon, James, Garrett, Josh, David, Angelika, Amanda and Steven.
