He was predeceased by: his parents, LaVent Tom and Edna Tom (Cripe); and his sisters, Carol Mullinix, Martha and Doris Tom.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Suter; his children, Julia Miller (Casey) of Goshen and Andrew Tom (Christon) of Mishawaka; and his grandchildren, Hannah, Rachel Miller, Emily and Alexander Tom.

Memorial donations may be given to Mishawaka Grace Brethren Church.
