He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth H. Phillippi and Clara E. Phillippi (Huling); his wife Wilma J. Throneberry; his son Mark Phillippi; and his brothers, Jack, J. F. and Fred Phillippi.
He is survived by: his children, Rodney Phillippi (Gail) and Veldoris Nielsen (Robert); and his grandchildren, Marcella Gilleand (Timothy), Diana Melo (Apollo), Marguex Duff (Robert), Joshua, Samuel, Matthew and Claire Phillippi. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
