He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Niemasik and Stella Niemasik (Witek). He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Portolese (Larry) of Granger and Cynthia Burggraf (Andrew) of South Bend; his grandchildren, Lauren Kikly (Josh), Rachel Kolber (Kory), Alex Portolese and Amy Portolese; his stepgrandchildren, Christine Berry (Robbie), Candice Burggraf and John Burggraf; his siblings-in-law, Edward Tafelski, Jr. and Dorothy Grzeskowiak; and his close friends, Ron Page and Rod McNiell. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; several cousins.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Caring Cove Hospice, 3120 N Home St. Mishawaka, IN 46545 in honor of James E. Niemasik.
