With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Sawyer (South Bend, Indiana), born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on June 29, 2025 at the age of 20. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though James may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his sister Michelle Harrod. He is survived by: his parents, Christopher Sawyer and Britney Sawyer; his fiancé Tanaji Jayd Saunders; his siblings, Hanna, Stephanie Sawyer, Alexander Glenn, Ethan Sawyer, Caleb Harrod and Foster Brumbaugh; and also Maryann Tealer. He is also survived by his family, friends.
