He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Szekendi (Popielski) and Joseph Szekendi; and his parents-in-law, Harry and Clementine Mrozinski. He is survived by: his wife Paula Mrozinski; his sons, Timothy and Thomas; his sisters, Susan Hanefeld (Dana) and Mary Jo Szekendi; and his brother-in-law Father Ronald Mrozinski.
