She was predeceased by: her parents, Pinkney Carter and Norma Carter (Cook); her spouse Caspar J. Slisz Sr.; her daughter Pamela Yandl; her siblings, Mary Pawlak, William Carter and Bruce Carter; and her niece Karmin Carter.
She is survived by: her children, Misty Lewis (Clyde), Robyn Fawley, Teresa Woodrum, Carmen Hosier (Michael), Stephanie Berkey (Jason) and Casey Slisz II (Chanin); her grandchildren, Levi, KayLee, Jason, Joseph, Danielle, Christopher, Casper, Heather, Preston, Kyle, Corey, Josh, Justin, Maranda, Maddie and Brady; her brothers, Kevin Carter and Dennis Carter; and her close friends, Stephan Lewis, Susan Antonelli and Heidi Shanafelt. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
