He was predeceased by: his parents, John Balog and Elizabeth Balog (Horvath); his wife Sharon A. Balog; and his brothers, Richard, Robert, Jack Balog and Sherman "Thomas" Wilson.
He is survived by: his children, Jodi Sass (Steve) of New Carlisle, IN and David Balog (Janetta) of South Bend, IN; his grandchildren, Sarah, Lindsey Sass, Lexi, Ben and Jaimie Balog; and his sister Janice Nickerson of New Carlisle, IN. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
