The memory of Jerry D. Mayfield of South Bend, Indiana, who passed away on June 6, 2025 at the age of 83, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvis L. Mayfield and Emma VanHulle Mayfield; and his brothers, Calvis Jr. and Robert. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Mayfield; his children, Rebecca L. Harvey (William) of Bourbon, David W. Mayfield (Florence) of South Bend, Indiana. and Gary L. Mayfield of South Bend, Indiana.; his grandsons, Timothy Harvey (Sarah), Matthew Harvey, Stuart Mayfield and Tyler Mayfield; his brother Rodney Mayfield (Joan) of New Carlisle; and his sister-in-law Josephine Mayfield.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hanley & Sons Funeral Home "southwest Chapel" (23421 IN-23, South Bend, IN 46614). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made in Jerry's name to either Traditions Health Hospice or your local Alzheimer's organization.
