It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan E. Stanley (South Bend, Indiana), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on July 11, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruno Spiewak and Marie Rose Spiewak (Ziembowicz); her husband Richard Stanley; and her siblings, Bruno Spiewak and Marie Janeczko.

She is survived by: her children, Richard Stanley (Diane) of Granger, Jodi Wilson (Patrick) of Granger, Sandi Carter (Mark) of Indianapolis and Chris Stanley (Jennifer) of Frisco, TX. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Anthony's Tuition Fund.
