She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Shafer and Josephine Shafer (Pauwels); and her foster daughter Cheryl Gridley. She is survived by: her son Erwin Weise (Terri); her grandchildren, Joseph Weise (Rachel) and Julie Lashmit (Heath); and also, Bernice Peters, Sharon Shafer, Patricia Holland and Leroy Shafer. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hahn Funeral Home (505 W 8th St, Mishawaka, IN 46544). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
