John C. DeMeester Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John C. DeMeester of South Bend, Indiana, who passed away on July 23, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyril DeMeester and Bertha DeMeester (Van Daele); his sisters, Lois Leyes and Patricia DeMeester; his grandsons, Michael DeMeester and Brian Brockway Jr.; his great grandchild Braylon Young; and his great great grandchild Harper Lynn Horvath.
He is survived by: his wife Delores DeMeester; his children, Randy DeMeester (Susan), Pamela Brockway (Brian), Sherry Demske, Melissa "Missy" Ware (Berlyn "Jeff") and Melinda "Mindy" Sergio (Rocco); his grandchildren, Joshua DeMeester (Katie Ott), Brendan DeMeester (Kara), Jill Brockway, Kelli Horvath (Jeremy), Derek Demske, Malary Demske (James Foster), Jeremy Ware (Melissa), Ashley Young (Brad), Gabriella Sergio, Arianna Sergio and Rocco Sergio; and his great grandchildren, Paige, Piper, Beckham, Willow, Jonah, Flynn DeMeester, Tyler, Payton, Ashila Brockway, Zion, NaXyia Rassi, Trenton (Ally), Kydin Horvath, Kennedie Brockway-Miller, Tripp, Leila Demske, Kyleigh, Braxton Ware, Miles and Greyson Young.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wells and Cruz Family Funeral Home (503 W 3rd St, Mishawaka, IN 46544). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
