He was predeceased by: his father John L. Gaska; and his stepfather Albert A. Ewald, Jr.. He is survived by: his siblings, James M., Richard A. Gaska, Juliann Unruh of Plymouth, IN, Jerry Gaska-Straub of West Lafayette, IN and Jill Ballard of Havelock, NC.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Contributions in memory of J.C. may be donated to the charity of the donor's choice.
