He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Holderread and Eva Holderread (Flora). He is survived by: his daughter Shannon Mitchell (Nathan) of Plymouth; his brother Kerry Holderread of Plymouth; his niece Rachael Holderread (David Sliter); and his great-nephew Logan.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of John C. Holderread may be donated to Feeding the Nations.
