It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John J. Murray of South Bend, Indiana, born in Rochester, New York, who passed away on January 8, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Murray and Arline Murray (McGloin); and his sister Joan Hemingway. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Linkner; his children, Shaun Joseph Murray (Sue), Mary Bernadette Neeser (Stephen), Paul William Murray (Dori) and Maureen Ann Shechtman (Matthew); and his sister Eileen O'Neil. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Center for Hospice Care in Mishawaka or Christ the King Catholic Church.
