With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Paksi (South Bend, Indiana), who passed away on April 3, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Paksi and Bertha Paksi (Brahlich); his spouse Gayle L. Hartstein; and his siblings, Louis Paksi, Steve Hornyak, Anton Hornyak, Frank Hornyak, Julius Hornyak, Frances Hojnacki, Freda Laiber, Alma Katona, Esther Katona and Margaret Compton.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Bella (Joe) of Granger, Cary Paksi of South Bend and Gregory Paksi of South Bend; his grandson Joseph Michael Bella (Katherine); and his sister Julie Paksi-Zapalski of Vandalia.
