He is survived by: his close friend Larry Robertson; his wife Karen J Csaszar (Oestreich); his friend Jeanne Robertson; his children, Jessica (Kaley), Joseph III, Jacks (Jordon) and Lamont (Courtney); his son-in-law Aaron Bertman; his grandchildren, Kalina, Anilee and Connor Bertman; his siblings, Jeannette Shepherd and Steve Csaszar; and his in-laws, Margaret, Rick Thurlby and Di Oestreich. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Palmer Funeral Home - Guisinger Chapel (3718 S Michigan St, South Bend, IN 46614). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Palmer Funeral Homes - Guisinger Chapel (3718 S Michigan St, South Bend, IN 46614). A burial will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery (23449 Edison Rd, South Bend, IN 46628).
