He was predeceased by: his brother Shiffon Wells. He is survived by: his parents, Tiffany Merritt (Lark) and Johnny Merritt, Jr. (Deedee); his children, Joshua Alan Merritt, Jr. and Tyilia Alee Lynn Merritt; his girlfriend Tyijia Postell; and his siblings, Breanna Merritt, Leavy Wells (Julissa), Johnny Merritt III (Tayanna), Freddie Wells, Treasure, Jamon Merritt, Trinity Merritt, Temple Merritt and Derick Austin. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.
