Judy Ann Shafer Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judy Ann Shafer of South Bend, Indiana, who passed away on August 8, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Umbaugh and Edith Umbaugh (Smith); and her son David W. Shafer of Salida, CA. She is survived by: her husband William R. Shafer; her son Brian S. Shafer of Las Vegas, NV.; her daughter-in-law Jennifer Shafer; her grandchildren, Eric, Kevin, Courtnee, Kyle, Jerry, Michael and Diana; her great grandchildren, Aubrey, Alyssa, Shianne, Mackenzie, Nickolas, Natalie, Jaxon, Andru, Mya and Alexis; and her siblings, Shirley Ferency, Nancy Johnston (Keith), Dennis Umbaugh (Joyce) and Robert Umbaugh (Robin). She is also survived by seven grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and thirteen step-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Judy Shafer may be donated to the General Fund of St. John's Lutheran Church, 24955 Riley Road, North Liberty, IN 46554.
