He was predeceased by: his parents, Julio Benvenuto Pittamiglio and Angélica Benvenuto (Riberio). He is survived by: his spouse María Rosa Olivera-Williams; his children, Viviana Benvenuto of Montevideo, Ximena Williams-Olivera of Anchorage, Aldo of Montevideo and Álvaro of Montevideo; and his grandsons, Pedro of Montevideo and Manuel of Montevideo.
