He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Tammy Brodd; his brothers, Charles Brodd (Patricia) of Pennsylvania, Kurt Brodd of Texas and Craig Brodd (Kathy) of Texas; his stepchildren, Larry Melton (Wendy) of Michigan and Kaitlyn Penley (Corbin) of Michigan; his grandchildren, Joshua Davis, Scarlett Vega, Matthew Melton, Wayne Penley and Preston Penley; and his parents, Charles Brodd and Martha Brodd. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hanley & Sons Funeral Home "southwest Chapel" (23421 IN-23, South Bend, IN 46614). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
The family has asked that memorial donations be made in Karl's name in care of Tammy, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
