We bid farewell to Kathleen C. Scheu (South Bend, Indiana), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 2, 2024 at the age of 79. Kathleen touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul J. "Baldy" Szalay and Christine T. Szalay (Wieger); her sister Paulette Marie Szalay; her granddaughter Christine Marie; and her husband John D. Scheu.
She is survived by: her sister Mary Elizabeth Horvath (Dave); her sons, John Paul Scheu (Tina) of Elkhart, IN and Nicholas Scheu (Molly) of Westfield, IN.; and her grandsons, John Preston, Hunter, Nolan, Will and Jake.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mishawaka Marian High School (indicating Kathy Scheu in the memo) or Our Lady of Hungary Catholic Church.
