She was predeceased by: her grandfathers, Terry Brown and Wesley Bennett. She is survived by: her parents, Michelle Krupp and Mike Wendt; her fiancé Kyle Dennig; her sons, Grayson and Asher Teter; her sister Haylee Miser (Chad); her grandparents, Deidre Brown, Darlene Bennett, Norm and Judy Krupp; her nieces, Josina and Aviana; and her stepsiblings, Mike Wendt (Krista), Alicia Wendt, Brandey Morales (Luis) and Courtney Leach. She is also survived by her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations or memorial contributions be made in Kayla's name to Palmer Funeral Home — Bubb Chapel, 3910 N. Main St. Mishawaka, IN 46545 for the family to establish a college fund for Asher and Grayson.
