She was predeceased by: her brother Kurt Klute. She is survived by: her parents, Melvin Klute and Anna Klute (Szucsits); her spouse Corina Opaczewski; her son Zackary Szymanski; her grandchildren, Laihlee and Zeti; and her siblings, Kim Jacoby (Mike), Karrie Bland (Tom) and Kip Klute (Mary).

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Center for Hospice Care.
