He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Woodcox and Edna Woodcox (Kimble); his children, Diane Rittenhouse and David Woodcox; and his siblings, Dale Woodcox and Norma Feller.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Esther Mitschelen; his children, Becky Royer (Dan) of Sanford, Debra Chizum (Larry) of Plymouth, Kathy Wolf of White House, Tennessee and Randy Woodcox (Carla) of Mishawaka, Indiana; his daughter-in-law Barb Woodcox of Mishawaka; his sisters, Luella Chizum of South Bend and Verda Mitschelen of South Bend; and his sister-in-law Janice Hastings of South Bend. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
