It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Kevin Wittenbach of South Bend, Indiana, born in Mishawaka, Indiana, who passed away at the age of 44, on October 12, 2020. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, James, Catherine Byrne, Leo and Maxine Wittenbach. He is survived by: his parents, James Wittenbach and JoAnn Wittenbach (Byrne). He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Due to current COVID restrictions, private services will be held at Palmer Funeral Home – Hickey Chapel.

When I saw his picture in the paper it immediately took me back to those days when Kevin entered my classroom with a smile and calm enthusiasm that brightened my day and invited his classmates to join in the fun of the day. I will always remember that sweet and respectful little boy. May his soul rest in peace.”
