He is survived by: his mother Ora Lee Crowel (Benko) of South Bend; his wife Denise Crowel (Kuzmits); his son Colin Crowel (Jamie); his sisters, Kay Jo Crowel of Atlanta, GA and Karen Lee Keesey (Mark) of Sylvania, OH; and his nieces, Kirsten Carelli, Rachel Keesey and Alison Logan (Sam).
