He was predeceased by: his father Arthur DeLater; and his son Larry S. DeLater, Jr. (Per). He is survived by: his children, Amy J. Kiefer of Luther and Daniel S. DeLater of Traverse City; and his siblings, Gaile Sumey, Jeff and Tom DeLater. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
