We are sad to announce that on October 1, 2020, at the age of 88, Lawrence E. Witek (South Bend, Indiana), born in Michigan City, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ignatius Witek and Pearl Witek (Goralski); his daughter Carol Root; and his siblings, Lorraine Gallas and Raymond Witek.

He is survived by: his wife Theresa Witek (Novak); his son Paul Witek (Ann Marie) of South Bend; his son-in-law Thomas Root of Michigan City; his grandchildren, Krystin Martin (Earl) of Ashburnham, MA and Michael Witek of Sarasota, Florida; and his great grandchildren, Luke, Bennett, Tessa, Juliet, Grant Martin and Logan Witek. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews and friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Cross Catholic School or the Alzheimers Foundation.
