It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leo Anthony Pauwels of South Bend, Indiana, who passed away on February 10, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerard Pauwels and Irene Pauwels (Wojtysiak); and his sister Christine Pauwels. He is survived by: his niece Sarah Starczewski; his nephews, Jeff and Dan Pauwels; his great-niece Delia Grace Abaray; his stepchildren, Patrick Ball and Katie Boruff (Todd); his friend John Kush; his godchildren, Paula Kay Horvath and Noah Abaray; and his siblings, Ken Pauwels (Marie), Mike Pauwels (Mary), Larry Pauwels (Vicki), Mary Abaray (Mike) and Cathy Stradtner. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
