He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Sr. Sears and Julia Sears (Fridgies); his wife Karen; and his sister Judy Murray. He is survived by: his children, Brian Sears (Teressa) and Jennifer Sears; his stepdaughter Tara Brubaker; his grandchildren, Cody Sears (Taylor), Taylor Cunningham (Nate), Jordan Sears (Madison), Cassie Lacher (Samuel), Grace Brammer, Addie Brammer, Sophia Brammer, Michael Brammer and Taryn Brubaker; and his great grandchildren, Henry, Violet, Willow and Owen.
