It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lloyd Owens Sr. of South Bend, Indiana, who passed away on August 22, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hermon Owens, Jr. and Irena M. Reed (Clyde); his brother Clyde Reed, Jr.; and his grandparents, Hermon, Birdie Lee Owens, Sr., Douglas and Emma Mae Bolton.
He is survived by: his wife Emma Baker; his children, Allison (Scott Labadie), Lloyd D Owens, Jr., Tyrone L. Owens (Nicole Brownlee) and Regis D. Owens; his siblings, Lester L. Owens, Bishop Stephen Reed, Gail M. Price, Letha L Brown (Anthony), Brenda A. Reed, Stephanie Reed and Florine Jennings; and his aunts and uncles, Rev. Lefate Owens (Ora Lee), Joe K. Owens, H. Dwight Bolton, Leon Davis, Francis Herrell and Lowree Ware (Wiley). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
