She was predeceased by: her parents, John Detwiler and Irene Detwiler (Kenaga); her husband Peter Novachenko Jr.; and her brother Tim Detwiler. She is survived by: her children, Vanessa Hickner (Jamie Jr.) of South Bend and Pete Novachenko (Angela) of Mishawaka; her grandchildren, James III (Chelsea), Sidney and Stephanie Hickner; her great grandchildren, James Hickner of Texas and Amelia Jean Hickner; and her siblings, David Detwiler (Linda) of Nappanee, Mark Detwiler (Susan) of Wilmington and Kathy Harris (Douglas) of Elkhart.
