She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Mackowiak and Helen Mackowiak (Prusinski); her daughter Julie Ann Waletzko; and her brothers, Leo Mackowiak and Chester Mackowiak.

She is survived by: her husband Paul Waletzko; and her children, Teri Waletzko, Diane Passero (Marc), Mary Lopez (Johnny) and Anthony Waletzko (Elizabeth). She is also survived by her family – especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in honor of Loretta Helen Waletzko may be made out to Muscular Dystrophy Association, .
