She was predeceased by: her parents, Janos Racz and Katalin Racz (Szabo); her spouse Miklos Szalay; and her siblings, Eliszbet, Nandor and Antus.

She is survived by: her daughters, Rosemary Atkison (Roy) and Kathleen Friend; and her sister Teresa. She is also survived by three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Hungary Church or the Center for Hospice Care.
