It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Margie Nell Smith of South Bend, Indiana, born in Tompkinsville, Kentucky, who passed away on January 10, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl High and Norene High (Hedrick); her son Ken Tooley; her great grandchild Norah Mammolenti; and her close friend Sue Creech.

She is survived by: her children, Cathy Podell-Jones of Buchanan, MI., Sandy Dlugosz (Andy) of South Bend, IN. and Don Smith of Niles, MI.; her grandsons, Andy Podell (Macaire), Adam Podell (Stephanie), Eric Mammolenti (Tessa) and Scott Mammolenti (Megan); and her pet MIss KItty.
