She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Pittman Sr. and Mary Pittman (Porter); her husband George E. Maher, Sr.; her grandchild Da'Mon Bethel; her nephews, Howard Franklin and Andre Pittman; and her siblings, Benjamin "Jackie" Pittman, Jr. and Carol Stokes.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Henry (Samantha) of South Bend, George E. Maher Jr. (Tiffany) of South Bend, Tamia Fennessee (Torrey) of South Bend, Michelle Harris of Grand Rapids and Valerie Delaney of Elkhart, Indiana; her close friend Johnnie H. Williams of South Bend; her grandchildren, Asha Pfeifer (DeAndre), LaRon McGhee (Kelsey), Tylon Fennessee (Alyssa), Tiera Fennessee, Torrey Fennessee, Jr., Steven Henry, II (Leah), Jarell Henry (Dominique), Apryll Henry (Duane), Brian Wiley (Jackie), Vanessa Wiley, JeRon Maher (Carlissa), Montese Maher (Zulmarie), Zanaee Smith, Steven Bethel, Rakesha Lane, Rashaun Lane, Heaven Woods, Amanda Ellison, Jada Marshall and Whitney Marshall; and her sibling's children, Omar Abdullah, Shawn, Taniesha Pittman and Priest Pittman. She is also survived by 36 great-grandchildren.
