It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mark Vanderheyden of South Bend, Indiana, who passed away on August 17, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Laura Vanderheyden (Sergent); his sons, Adam Vanderheyden, Brian Vanderheyden (Angie) and Kyle Vanderheyden; his sisters, Kathy Zwickl (Craig) and Linda Leidgen (Bob); his uncle Tom Vanderheyden; his grandchildren, Anthony Vitale, Nolan Vanderheyden, Nash Vanderheyden, Joe McQuery, Elizabeth Vanderheyden and Samuel Vanderheyden; and his great grandchild Vincent of Anthony Vitale. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mark's name to Riley Children's Hospital or to the Alzheimer's Services of Northern Indiana, 111 Sunnybrook Ct.
