She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Swartz and Camilia Swartz (Nowak). She is survived by: her husband Jerome A. Plencner; her children, Vicky Plencner, Therese Pajor (Mike), Mary Frances Hertel (Adam), Kenneth Plencner (Noreen), Scott Plencner (Doris) and Christopher Plencner (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Ashley, Samantha, Tyler, Matthew, Kyle, Sabrina, Luke, Alyssa, Kayla and Claire; her great grandchildren, Kasen, Leo, Harlan, Nola, Joey, Willow, Lilliana, Jackson, Braxton, Hailey, Camden, Liam and Gabe; her sister-in-law Marcia Deren; and her sister Mardell Fermi (Tom).

Memorial contributions may be made to Ascent Hospice in honor of Mary Jo's memory and spirt of care.
