He is survived by: his parents, Jeffrey Smith and Nancy Lee Smith; his wife Lucy P. Smith; his daughters, Victoria Egan (Jefferson) and Evelyn Smith; and his brothers, Brad (Laura) and Peter (Michele). He is also survived by Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions honoring Matthew be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
