He is survived by: his wife Jane; his children, Daniel Brown (Diana) of Menifee, Philip Brown of Henderson, Janelle Edmiston (Steve) of Silt and Timothy Brown (Robin) of Apopka, Florida; his grandchildren, Alex Magallanes, Jacob Brown, Liliana Brown, Sierra Edmiston, Logan Brown and Cody Brown; his brothers, David Brown (Pam), Joel Brown (Yvonne) and Timothy Brown (Montine); and his brother-in-law Jack Hardland.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Seventh Day Adventist Church in South Bend.
