It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael J. DeMeulenaere of South Bend, Indiana, born in Mishawaka, Indiana, who passed away on March 26, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father John DeMeulenaere; and his brother Steven DeMeulenaere. He is survived by: his wife Laurel Duck DeMeulenaere; his daughters, Kelly Stephens (James) and Jennifer Pankiewicz (Edward); the mother of his children Patricia Sweeney; his stepdaughters, Jenny Troiola (Tony) and Kathleen Turner (Joseph Lach); his grandchildren, Raymond, Aidan, Lucy, Harley, Quinn, Mara, Vivienne, Elizabeth, Jameson and Margaret; his sisters, Carol Robbins (Edley), Linda Scott and Diane DeMeulenaere; his sister-in-law Mary DeMeulenaere; and his parents-in-law, Jerry and Judy Duck. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and special friends, including his lifelong friend.
