Michael leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Michael’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Michael will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard J. Nemes and Josephine H. Nemes (Chraplewy). He is survived by: his wife Kathleen; his children, Sara Nielson of South Bend and Timothy Nemes of South Bend; his stepchildren, Laura Raker-Cihak (Craig) of New Carlisle, Robert Raker II (Lynn) of South Bend and Bradley Raker (Jodie) of Clearwater, FL; and the mother of his children Robin Nemes of Mishawaka. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
