With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Gene Swanson of South Bend, Indiana, born in Red Oak, Iowa, who passed away on April 12, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Carl Swanson and Irene Swanson (Hendrickson). He is survived by : his wife Bunny; and his children, Susan Swanson, Jeffrey Swanson, Dennis Swanson, Adam Swanson (Amanda) and David Swanson (Nicole). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and their families; one sister; and four brothers.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Michael G. Swanson may be donated to Heart to Heart Hospice, 620 W. Edison Road, Unit 122, Mishawaka, IN 46545.
