She was predeceased by: her parents, Delmar Carothers and Pauline Carothers (Thomas); her husband Charles Lind; and her siblings, Donald Carothers, Delmar Carothers Jr., Gerald Carothers, Vernon Carothers, Noble Carothers, Delores Masterson, Joy Replogle, Geneva McAfee, Connie Marshall and Bill Carothers.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Vanator, Lois Burkholder (Mike) and Charlotte McGowan (Mike); her grandchildren, David Vanator (Laura), Cathy Brittain, Mark Vanator (Joy), Stacie Chudzicki, James Burkholder and Karie Cates (Mike); and her siblings, Janice Beane and Jack Carothers. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home (10776 McKinley Hwy, Osceola, IN 46561). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens (10776 McKinley Hwy, Osceola, IN 46561).
