We are sad to announce that on April 15, 2023, at the age of 65, Minnie Hairston of South Bend, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mattie Hairston and Jerry Glover; her grandmother Lou O'Neal; her grandson Deonte Murphy; and her siblings, Willie Ben Hairston, Dewitt Menyard, Mary Perry and Katharine Brown.
She is survived by: her boyfriend Greg Nelson of Aurora; her children, Teresa Lighthall of Denver Colorado, Robert Willis (Betthena) of Dallas and Neshawna Murphy of Denver; her siblings, Albert Hairston of South Bend, Willie Menyard of South Bend, Sandra Hairston of South Bend and Barbara Gadson of San Diego; and her close friend Viola King. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephew and cousins.
