We announce the death of Nancy Turak of South Bend, Indiana, who passed away on September 10, 2026, at the age of 85. Nancy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, William W. Nevins and Dorothy L. Nevins (Butler); her husband John L. Turak; and her sister Donna Duncan. She is survived by: her sons, John A. Turak (Mila), Jeff A. Turak (Deborah Fasnacht) and Joel A. Turak (Beth); her grandchildren, Jack Turak, Sam Turak (Sydney Jonker), Carolyn Boone (Johnie), Casey Turak (Andy Pittman), Carley Turak (Chase Weaver), Brayden Maxey, Chase Maxey and Landon Maxey; her great grandchildren, Nova, Johnie and Duncan; and her cousin Diana Wilson. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
