He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kilavos and Despina "Penny" Kilavos (Anast); and his brother Constantine "Dean" Kilavos. He is survived by: his son Dean Nicholas Kilavos of Valparaiso, IN; his former wife Lorri Kilavos of Valparaiso, IN; his brother Tom Kilavos of Kewanna, IN; and his aunts, Lela Platt and Katina Anast.
