She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Joseph Houston and Ruth Houston (Rogers); her husband Steven P. Egendoerfer; her children, Sara Barto (Robert) of Spring Hill, FL and Steven P. Egendoerfer II of South Bend; her grandchildren, Keller and Kassidy; her siblings, Barb Reasor (Bill) of South Bend, Linda Bennett (Sam) of South Bend and Rick Houston (Judy) of Elkhart; her brother-in-law Dave Marvel; and her sister Sue Marvel.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking memorial contributions to be made to The American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD. 21741 or to Pet Refuge, 4626 S. Burnett Dr, South Bend, In 46614.
