She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Vailes and Dorothy Vailes of Jacksonville, AR; her husband John W. Reed of South Bend, IN; and her stepson James R. Reed of Niles, MI.. She is survived by: her children, Timothy Humphries and Bethany Wachs (Steven); her grandchild Alexis Humphries of South Bend, IN.; her sister Betty Sumner of Jacksonville, AR.; and her stepchildren, Laura Jeffery (Peter) and Johnny (Tami). She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers any memorial gifts should go to New Beginnings Community Fellowship Church of the Nazarene, 19688 Kern Road, South Bend, IN 46614. Her wishes are that any memorials go to the Compassionate Ministries Fund.
